Professional Statement

Alanya Vaene Lee is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Lee earned her Ph.D. in 2013 from the California School of Professional Psychology, at Alliant International University. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2006 at the University of California-Irvine, with majors in psychology and social science.  Dr. Lee completed a pre-doctoral internship at North Central Community Mental Health Clinic. Her clinical work focused on providing psychological services to the underserved population.  Dr. Lee completed her second pre-doctoral internship at Aurora Behavioral Healthcare. She provided mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, in the inpatient units and intensive outpatient programs. Dr. Lee completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Advanced Health Care. Her clinical work focused on treating patients with depression, anxiety, disability, and medical illness. Dr. Lee utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help patients manage stress, decrease anxiety, and improve their mood.
